I have had a real shock, and feel humbled

I wrote a journal a few days ago, just letting everyone know about what had been happening to me over the last couple of years. [link] I got some lovely messages of support, and they all helped give me heart for the trying times that will surely lie ahead.
Imagine my surprise when I logged on today, and saw that and had opened a chip-in account to help me, and written a journal about it. [link] It is just such a wonderful feeling that anyone should think of taking the time, let alone offering any of their hard earned. I am not writing this to promote this account. I am writing this to make public the love and consideration that is here at dA in spades. Words can't express how I feel. This one act alone has made this Christmas the best for a long, long time.

no jokes tonight. My connection is off and on, and it is taking ages to do anything.

one thing i'd like to mention is that i have a little project that i would like as many people as possible to contribute to. i think it might be something nice to add to journals over the christmas period.

It will be called 'continuing bonds'. i will tell you more about it tomorrow. I hope you like the idea.
