view across the anglezark moors in Lancashire.

The 'bump' on the horizon is a burial mound, or 'barrow' known as 'round loaf'.

What a beautiful scene. Gorgeous colors and textures. Excellent capture.

Awesome place! How did you edit this?? :)
I want to get into HDR but wont have CS3 till later in the week. I downloaded a photomatix HDR trial but it's crap and leaves a watermark, so I just used one image.

I selected the sky with the rectangular tool in elements, so that I could edit it on its own and sorted levels and hue and sat. Then I selected inverse so he ground was selected and upped the levels and the hue an saturation. Then I sharpened it.
It's dead easy, cos I'm rubbish at all this photosop nonsense.

No I didn't use the rectangular tool. I used the magnetic selection thingy. You can also use the magic wand, but I find it doesn't work well for me.

ooh ok, thats a cool start. HDR is a lil tricky to start with (sayin that Ive only done 2 maybe 3 lol). Im sure you'll find photoshop CS3 far easier. plus there are a bunch of awesome tutorials lurking around here.
